Affiliate programs,
run privately.
MagicReferrer tracks referrals, works out commissions and records payouts for a small set of partner companies, on infrastructure we operate ourselves. It isn’t open to new merchants.

What it does
Everything between an affiliate’s link and their payout.
- Tracking
- Runs on the merchant’s own domain. Affiliates share an ordinary link such as
example.com/?ref=maya, and a small script reports the click to a subdomain of the merchant’s site,go.example.com, so cookies are first-party. Certificates for those subdomains are issued automatically. Checkout pages that can’t run scripts report sales through a pixel. - Attribution
- Each program sets its own cookie window. With lifetime attribution on, a customer stays tied to the affiliate who referred them, so renewals and later purchases are credited without a fresh click.
- Commissions
- Flat, percentage, tiered on sales count or revenue over a rolling window, or recurring on renewals with a cap on payments or days. Rules apply to a whole program, a group of affiliates or a single affiliate. Every commission keeps a copy of the rule that produced it, so editing a rule never rewrites past earnings.
- Affiliate portal
- Affiliates sign in with an emailed link instead of a password, and see their referral links, per-placement sources, each commission with its status, and their payouts. A program can also run its own signup page on its own domain, in its own colours, and choose whether new applications wait for review.
- Payouts
- Approved commissions are settled in payouts, each recorded with its method (PayPal, Wise or bank transfer), the transfer reference and the commissions it covers. Amounts are stored as whole cents, never floating point.
